Joe Davidson (Nelson Leafs), Cam Reid (Kimberley Dynamiters) and Jozef Kuchaslo (Revelstoke Grizzlies) were selected as the Instat KIJHL Players of the Month for November.
Davidson – Top Forward – The Nelson product helped the Leafs earn seven wins in November with nine goals and 17 points in nine games. Davidson netted two hat-tricks and had four game-winning goals. On Nov. 5 against Fernie, Davidson scored a hat-trick, including the winner in a 3-2 OT victory. On Nov. 18 against Kimberley, he netted his second winner and added an assist in a 3-2 win. On Nov. 19 against Fernie, Davidson collected his second hat-trick, including the winner with an assist in a 5-3 Leafs victory. And on Nov. 20 against Creston Valley, the six-foot-three, 200-pound forward had the winner and added two assists in a 10-5 final. Davidson leads the Leafs with 26 points in 21 games, which also ranks him 17th overall in the league.
Reid – Top Defenceman – The Kimberley product helped the Dynamiters win six games as he had four goals and eight points in eight games. On Nov. 11, Reid had a goal and three points in their 6-0 win over Grand Forks. On Nov. 12, he had a two-point performance in their 4-1 win over Columbia Valley, scoring short-handed. He had his third multi-point performance in their 2-1 win over 100 Mile House, with the winning goal and adding an assist. Reid is fourth on the Dynamiters with 20 points in 22 games, which ranks him third among league defencemen in points.
Kuchaslo – Top Goalie – The Misson, B.C. product won four of the six games he played, with two of his losses coming in shootouts. Kuchaslo recorded a 54-save shutout in a shootout loss to Kimberley. He then reeled off four straight wins against Sicamous, twice, Kelowna and Castlegar. He had a 28-save shutout against Sicamous in a 2-0 win. He earned his third shutout, a 24-save performance against Castlegar. He finished with a .973 SP and a 0.81 GAA. Kuchaslo has 10 wins in 14 games with a .940 SP and a 1.72 GAA. Kuchaslo is third in the league in wins, first in SP and No. 1 in GAA.
